We've all heard the myth that the dust in our homes is made of 70 - 90% of dead skins cells but dust is really an accumulation of many different pollutants. 

Common components of household dust include: animal dander, dead human skin cells, sand, insect waste, food debris in the kitchen, and of course good old fashioned dirt.

Each time we open our doors and windows, walk in and out of our homes, come home with groceries, or other items, we are bringing dust into our homes. And every time your HVAC system runs, much of that dust and dirt is pulled into our duct system, run through our furnace or air conditioner, and pushed back through our home.
